Pyrokinesis is entirely dependent on the presence of a Phlogiston soul, limiting its usage to only Chimeras and Fae half-breeds. All Chimeras are born with some form of Pyrokinesis knowledge ingrained into them.

Pyrokinesis revolves around the application of Phlogiston and the control of the nodes and vessels around one’s body. Greater control over these nodes can allow one to alter where and how the Phlogiston is released, and how it behaves once outside the body. Some species have bodies more suited to one type of Pyrokinesis over another.
Pyrokinesis is considered an anti-Anima technique, due to Phlogiston’s ability to incinerate Anima. Mastering Pyrokinesis is as much about psychological training as it is about physiological training, learning to have better control over your own body. Pyrokinetic tools are tools and devices used in conjunction with or powered by Pyrokinesis, which are used to further enhance one’s capabilities.

As the main component of Pyrokinesis is Phlogiston, all techniques are dependent on Anima as fuel, with its overall strength scaling with the local Anima density. Overusing Pyrokinesis techniques can cause the local Anima density to temporarily decrease, which will directly impact the efficiency of Phlogiston and of Pyrokinesis. Overuse can also strain the body, which will also impact Pyrokinesis proficiency.
